Dover Museum and Bronze Age Boat

Dover Museum tells the story of the town and port since prehistoric times, with four galleries over three floors behind the original Victorian façade. The Bronze Age Boat, an internationally significant archaeological discovery, is displayed alongside Bronze Age artefacts and a short film about its discovery and excavation.

Opening Times

Monday – Saturday 9:30am-5pm.

Sunday (April to September only) 10am-3pm.

Last entry 30 minutes before closing.

Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

Accessibility

The museum is fully accessible, with a ramped entrance, level floors, lift to all galleries and accessible toilet.
