Maidstone Carriage Museum

Housed in the 14th century stables of the Archbishops’ Palace and regarded as one of the finest in Europe, this is a unique collection of over 60 horse-drawn vehicles and transport curiosities. From Queen Victoria’s State Landau to ornate sleighs to antique sedan chairs and Victorian ‘growlers’.
