Explore the home of the famous scientist, Charles Darwin, where he lived and worked with his family.

See the study where he wrote ‘On the Origin of Species’, the family rooms and an award-winning exhibition with multi-media tour. The grounds are beautiful and include a hot-house with carnivorous plants and orchids. Down House is a delightful place to visit and of outstanding international significance.

The house also includes a small shop and tea room.
