Summer Song Recital Series 2022 at Canterbury Cathedral

Join us for a summer series of free Song Recitals in the Eastern Crypt from 13.30 – 14.15 on the following dates:

  • 15th June
  • 29th June
  • 6th July

Our Summer Song Recital series will begin with a performance by our Tenor Choral Scholar, David Walsh and will include a range of works by Monteverdi and Handel on May 25th.

The recitals are completely free to attend*, visitors can simply take a seat to listen to the full recital or enjoy snippets of music as you continue your visit. If you are attending the 12.30 Holy Communion Service you will be able to attend the recitals as well. There will be a retiring collection after the recital.

Featuring a range of song choices, in keeping with the daytime ambience of the Crypt, these song recitals will offer the chance to step away from the daily grind and relax with some glorious music.
