28th November to 3rd January at Leeds Castle
The year 2020 has been anything but expected, so this Christmas at Leeds Castle we are embracing the unexpected with a display of alternative Christmas trees!
Throughout the Castle this festive period, glorious bespoke handmade Christmas trees will be on display in the stunning state rooms. These non-traditional trees will include one made entirely of crockery in the Queen’s Gallery, with the tips and trimmings made from cutlery. The Inner Courtyard will play host to a set of trees made up of winter flowers, using flora from the Castle’s garden, and the Thorpe Hall be themed to a puzzle of wooden panels, taking its inspiration from the room’s unique panelled walls. The Seminar Room gives you the chance to be part of a growing tree installation by hanging your hopes for 2021 on the branches made from rope and twine.
As well as our alternative tree installations children will be able to post their letters to Father Christmas at his special post office, and our team will make sure that he gets them in time for a special Christmas delivery.
Included with the price of admission.
