Learn how Christmas was celebrated by the Benedictine monks at Canterbury Cathedral in the middle-ages, with pittances and a compulsory bath; how the origins of a popular Christmas carol can be traced in a stained glass window in the Crypt; and even how the Puritans banned Christmas in 1647, resulting in Canterbury’s infamous Plum Pudding Riots!

£5 per person, plus Cathedral admission charge.
