16th June at Howletts Wild Animal Park
Dads go FREE this Father’s Day!
Howletts Wild Animal Park, near Canterbury, have announced that they are bringing back their popular ‘Dads Go Free’ offer on Sunday 16th June 2019, which will see dads visiting the popular attraction, enjoying FREE entry, with any full paying adult or child day ticket.
Visitors will be able to spot new arrivals with their animal dads, as they explore 100 acres of historic parkland at Kent’s original wild animal park. See the largest herd of African elephants in the UK, including elephant calf, Nusu and his father Coco. Come face to face with lions and tigers, watch the gorilla families, walk with lemurs and go wild on the popular Treetop Challenge, or Animal Adventure Challenge obstacle courses.
Alongside all the animal magic, visitors can explore Animals of the Ice Age, to marvel at the mighty mammoth, stare at the sabre toothed smilodon and gasp at the sheer size of the giant sloth, as they explore the wooded paths to come face to face with life sized, prehistoric creatures from a land once frozen in time.
Visitors to the Animals of the Ice Age will be able to walk amongst these fantastic creatures and learn incredible facts posted on informative signage, which will tell the story of the animal kingdom as it was, over 2.6 million years ago. With amazing beasts along the trail, there will be plenty of surprises to keep kids and parents on the lookout
