15th February to 21st February at The Powell Cotton Museum
February Half Term – Eye Spy with My Animal Eyes
This half term at the Powell-Cotton Museum explore how other animals see the world. Whether it’s one eye or many, in colour or black and white, few animals experience the world as we do. All over the museum, discover different tools, filters and games to see what life looks like as a lion, a zebra, a snake and even a snail!
Call in at the opticians and take our eye test wearing lots of wonderful and wacky new glasses. What will you find hidden in the pictures? Spy glasses at the ready – explore the galleries and see how many optical illusions you can find and solve! Super Explorers can join our Eye-Spy Workshop* where you will learn about animal vision and design a pair of wacky glasses to take home.
Here at the Powell-Cotton Museum we are always working hard to make our holiday activities fun for all. If you have any questions on whether something is suitable for you or your young person then please do ask as we are happy to help.
