Guided Walk: The History and Wildlife of Samphire Hoe

Walk starts at 2.00pm

Come along and discover the fascinating history of Samphire Hoe; it’s past, construction and wildlife!

Learn about the old colliery and the link with the creation of the channel tunnel all while observing our wonderful variety of wild birds, flowers, insects and reptiles.

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear as the weather on the coast can be very changeable! Also, plenty to drink and some snacks, there is a tea kiosk on-site, but hours are unpredictable.
