In this hands-on session, you will learn the art of Kanzashi, the delicate technique of folding fabric to create decorative flowers, but with a special twist: instead of the usual paper, silk or cotton, you will be sewing with authentic Harris Tweed, the world-renowned handwoven wool cloth made exclusively in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland.
You will learn how to fold, shape and hand-sew fabric petals, resulting in the creation of 2 designs of Kanzashi flower, perfect as brooches, hair accessories or unique embellishments for hats, bags and dog collars.
