11th February to the 19th February at Hever Castle and Gardens
Bring the kids to Hever Castle & Gardens this February half term and enjoy learning about British garden birds. This fun family event is being run in conjunction with the RSPB and visitors can learn all about helping birds to nest, survive and thrive in their gardens at home.
Children can take part in a bird box building workshop* (*additional fee) providing them with the chance to help the conservation efforts in the UK by putting a nest box in their garden.
A free bird themed craft workshop also provides entertainment and the bird spotting trail around the grounds will allow visitors to find out more about different species of British birds. Visitors can also buy a bag of bird food* at the information centre (*50p) to feed the birds and ducks.
See the Hever Castle & Gardens website for pricing information.
