8th September at Royal Engineers Museum
Designed for under 5s and their parents, grandparents and carers, each session explores the Museum through play, stories, trails, crafts and simple science, building curiosity, communication and early development.
The British Armed Forces recognise achievement through medals. Minis will learn about Colonel Vassal Steer-Webster CBE, who helped create the Mulberry Harbours, and explore replica medals from the collection.
Children will then design their own medal, using pens for the ribbon and tools to shape clay, discovering the stories behind those who served in a fun, creative and hands-on way.
