Mini Museum Explorers: Why do we remember?

Designed for under 5s and their parents, grandparents and carers, each session explores the Museum through play, stories, trails, crafts and simple science, supporting development, communication and curiosity. Sessions run on the second Tuesday of each month (term time), 10–11am.

Minis will hear simple stories about bravery and service, learning why the poppy is a symbol of remembrance. Through discussion and exploration, they’ll begin to understand how we remember those who served, then create their own poppies and a handprint keepsake in this thoughtful, creative session.
