A unique 10k run through Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest – the tree lovers’ paradise
This is a beautiful run through the National Pinetum and Forest past impressive conifers and picturesque lakes. Enjoy the challenging inclines and muddy tracks and listen as the crowds cheer you on for the finish!
This run is part of the centenary celebrations, Forestry Commission England has launched the ‘Forestry 100 Running series’ across the nation’s forests.
Encouraging people to experience the freedom, fresh air and scenery of running on forest trails, participants can enter any individual 10km event, or, take up the Forestry 100 Challenge and run 100km of forest trails throughout the series.
Set in 16 beautiful forest locations around the country, each 10km trail has its own individual characteristics to keep you on your toes. Will it be flat and fast, picturesque but punishing or a steady run with stunning scenery for your first 10k?
No matter what your level of fitness is, you can sign up and be part of this exciting new centenary challenge.
