11th February to the 1st May at The Historic Dockyard Chatham
From Saturday 11th February to the May Bank Holiday Monday 1st May 2017, The Historic Dockyard Chatham’s popular “Doc. Yard’s Secret Lab” is set to return with a brand new electrifying experience.
Young (and not so young) budding scientists can experience a 45 minute hands-on visit to the eccentric Doc Yard’s Secret Lab in the company of the equally eccentric assistant Bunsen.
In the Prep room, all young scientists will don lab coats and stylish safety specs ready to enter the Lab. Can the children pass the ‘are you a bright enough spark’ test to enter Doc’s atomic research facility? And can the Adults pass a test of their own?!
Once in the lab, the fun begins! Young scientists will find out about the tiny world of the atom and the electron, have hair-raising fun finding out what happens when exposed to 100,000 volts of electricity and learn about the pulling power of magnets, including discovering how to make their own!
It’s fun for all the family in Doc. Yard’s Secret Lab, open at weekends and school holidays (and for school visits during the week). To find our more, please visit www.thedockyard.co.uk
To take part in Secret Lab, an annual ticket will need to be purchased. Details of prices can be found on the website.
