17th July at Belmont House and Garden
Calendula flowers have a long history of use as the source of natural compounds that help heal injured skin. They have anti fungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that might make it useful in healing wounds, soothing burns, ulcers and relieving nappy rash.
This is a practical day, where you get the chance to gather the herbs to make your own remedies including a calendula skin salve.
We will be stopping for a lunch break, so please bring a packed lunch with you. Alternatively, our Tea Room will be open serving light lunches and cream teas.
£40.00pp including materials and refreshments.
