This half day pruning course takes place at Bradbourne House this year as we are giving our trees at Brogdale Collections a break from summer pruning. The course mainly focuses on pruning apple trees and covers basic techniques, trained trees, including espaliers and is largely practical and outside allowing “hands on” practice and question time. Summer pruning should take place from the end of July so this course date gives you the chance to learn some skills before its time to prune your own trees.
