1st October at Canterbury Cathedral
Leading performer and pedagogue, Nathan Laube, opens our 2021 Organ recital series.
Known for his brilliant playing, gracious demeanour, and creative programming of repertoire spanning five centuries (including his own virtuoso transcriptions of orchestral works), Nathan is beloved around the world and has earned high praise from critics and peers alike.
Nathan has performed in the most famous churches and cathedrals of Europe, including Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, York Minster, the Frauenkirche in Dresden, and the Berlin Dom, and is regularly called upon to inaugurate important organs, including the restored Harrison & Harrison organ of King’s College Chapel, Cambridge.
His extensive recital career includes major venues spanning four continents, with appearances at the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Dortmund Konzerthaus, and the Sejong Center in Seoul.
We hope that you will be as excited as we are in welcoming Nathan to Canterbury Cathedral for this very special evening.
