It was amazing to see over three hundred people from the tourism industry in one vast room at the Hilton Southampton, all waiting expectantly to hear the results of this year’s tourism awards.  Ken Robinson, the Chairman of Tourism South East who presents these awards, made it really clear that to be nominated as a finalist from amongst thousands of entries was a true accolade, so everyone at Leeds Castle were immensely proud to win ‘Silver’ for our ‘Venue & Business Tourism’ offer.

This past year has indeed seen an upturn for the Castle in ‘incentive travel’ whereby groups, often from abroad, stay in the Castle, enjoy the amazing hospitality on offer, take part in great outdoor activities onsite such as Segway and Falconry and use us as a home base for equidistant travel to London or Paris.
