The cauldron is bubbling as animals and keepers at the Kent Wildlife park get ready for some frighteningly good October fun
From Saturday 1st – Monday 31st October, the infamous Witch of Wildwood will be flying in on her broomstick for a fiendishly fun-packed howl-oween.
Wicked “Winifred” – well known for her resting witch face – will be imparting her wisdom on some brave young witches and wizards and showing them how to create potions as part of a month of fiendish fun at the wildlife park, near Canterbury.
During the spookiest season of the year, families will also be treated to a ghoulishly great day out exploring the spine-tingling ancient woodland and getting up close with more than 40 species of British wildlife, from bison and badgers to wolves and wildcats. There’ll be the chance to learn more about the spookier animals – from ravens to rats – on site with engaging daily talks from Wildwood’s team of experts (from Saturday 15th – Sunday 30th October).
Those brave enough for a chilling challenge, will be able to take part in a special “Pumpkin Trail’ or try their hand at the scavenger hunt, solving dastardly riddles in exchange for prizes.
There’ll also be plenty of spooktacular craft activities with a pumpkin carving contest on offer as well as a special “Just for fun” area with a host of Autumnal games including pumpkin bowling and a coconut shy.
Wildwood’s holiday spooktacular will run from Saturday 1st – Monday 31st October and will raise funds for the British wildlife charity’s vital conservation work.
