A Nutcracker’s Christmas
Step into the magic of Christmas at Hever Castle as the enchanting story of The Nutcracker comes to life.
Begin at Drosselmeyer’s workshop, meet familiar characters along the way, and be swept into the colourful Land of Sweets through charming displays. Then step inside the Castle to enjoy the warmth of a traditional Christmas. A visit to Father Christmas is available as an optional extra for little ones.
As darkness falls from 4pm, the grounds are magically transformed. Wrap up warm and step into a world of wonder as the Castle, gardens, and lake are bathed in festive lights, capturing the heart of the Christmas season.
There will be limited capacity with timed entry to Christmas at Hever Castle so make sure to plan now to help secure the date and time of your choice.

Annual Member Priority Booking: 11am 23 September 2026
General Public Booking: 11am 30 September 2026
- Pre-booked tickets must be booked online. We cannot take bookings over the phone for this popular Christmas in Kent event.
- Tickets will remain in your basket for 20 mins for you to complete your purchase. After this time, they will automatically go back on sale.
- You can book Daytime or Twilight tickets.
- Please select your grounds entry time.
- Children’s tickets to visit Father Christmas must include ‘Father Christmas’ in the description and will include your Grotto entry time. This will be later than your grounds entry time.
For Visits in the Period 20 Nov – 2 Jan, please note that:
- Tickets cannot be resold, exchanged, transferred to another date or time or refunded. Refund protection is available for consideration.
- Only Christmas tickets are available – all tickets include access to the Castle & Gardens
- Pre-booking is essential for visits to Father Christmas.
- Pre-booking is recommended for admission (including annual members) to avoid disappointment and to save money. Walk-ins cannot be guaranteed.
- Twilight Tickets (for entry after 16:00) are charged at a premium rate and are chargeable to annual members (see prices below).
- Please arrive at the grounds at the time slot you have booked. Time slots for admission are at 15 minute intervals.

Grounds Entry time slots every 15 mins until 2.45pm (2.15pm on 24 & 31 Dec and 3.45pm on 25 & 26 Nov, 30 Nov – 3 Dec, 27 – 30 Dec, 1 & 2 Jan).
Last Exit is at 6.00pm (4.30pm on 24 Dec & 31 Dec and 6:30pm on 25 & 26 Nov, 30 Nov – 3 Dec, 27 – 30Dec, 1 & 2 Jan).
