Get ready for an unforgettable lineup of family-friendly events to kick off 2025, at the Rare
Breeds Centre, Woodchurch! From magical princess encounters and special visits from some

beloved characters. There’s something for kids of all ages to enjoy!

On Saturday 15th February, we will be bringing the magic of fairytales to life with Princess
Day. Visitors can explore the farm trail and solve fun clues as they venture around. A real-life
princess will host two enchanting storytelling sessions in the Discovery Zone at 11am and
2pm. The day will also include a costume competition in the Main Paddock at 2pm, where
little royals can dazzle the judges. For those who wish to step fully into their royal roles, a
face painting station will be available for a small fee.

On Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd March, we are thrilled to be welcoming Ben and Holly
from Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom to the Rare Breeds Centre. They will be making five
scheduled appearances at intervals each day, so lots of time to meet the duo and capture
some magical moments.

While attending any of these events, visitors can also enjoy all of the usual activities
available on the farm. The Children’s Barn offers the chance to meet our farm animals up
close. The indoor soft play area and outdoor play parks, which include zip wires, adventure
trails, a tunnel maze, swings, and a giant tyre snake, promise hours of entertainment.
Additionally, our popular tractor-trailer rides will be running throughout the day. And our
Granary Restaurant will be open serving barista coffees and lots of delicious food from hot
meals to light snacks, with vegan and gluten-free options available and the choice of
alternative milks.

These events are offered at no additional cost above our regular farm day ticket prices. We
highly recommend booking tickets in advance to secure your spot at these exciting events.
