Would-be model makers are being invited to try their hands at this fascinating hobby at a fun event being organised by the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust.
The charity is organising another Airfix Make and Paint Day following a similar successful event last year.
The Trust will have experienced plastic kit builders on hand to help beginners make and paint their own models in The Wing at Capel-le-Ferne, home to the Battle of Britain Memorial.
There will be a morning and afternoon session at the event, which takes place on Sunday 18 February and will raise money for the charity, which receives no government funding to support its work to commemorate the bravery of the men of the RAF who won the Battle of Britain.
The event is being generously supported by renowned plastic kit manufacturer Airfix, which has supplied kits, glue and paints to help everyone get stuck in to this life-long hobby. The morning and afternoon sessions cost just £15 per person per session.
