GUESTS CAN MEET FATHER CHRISTMAS AND EXPERIENCE HEAPS OF CHRISTMAS MAGIC AT THIS AWARD-WINNING EVENT
Kent Life Heritage Farm Park in Maidstone is pleased to announce its Experience Christmas event has been named a finalist in the Beautiful South Awards in the Tourism Event of the Year category.
The magical event that allows guests to meet Father Christmas, attend Elf School, decorate sweet treats with Mrs Christmas and more, is in the running for a glistening award. The impressive family-friendly farm landed Silver in the awards in 2019.
The Beautiful South Awards celebrate the cream of the crop, with finalists representing tourism, leisure and hospitality businesses from across South East England. This year, all entrants were shortlisted and independently judged. Tourism South East, the organisers of the awards, have revealed that Kent Life’s Experience Christmas is up against three other tourism companies and will be announcing the results live on the 13th December 2022 at the prestigious Grand Brighton.

2022 activities at Experience Christmas at Kent Life Heritage Farm Park:
- Meet Father Christmas:
Ho Ho Ho! The highlight for many will be visiting Father Christmas in his magical grotto where children can select a gift of choice from the well-stocked toy shop. Each child will receive a personalised letter in the post from Father Christmas ahead of their visit*.
Father Christmas will be visiting at the below times, so make sure to add these very important dates to your diary:
- Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th November
- Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th December
- Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th December
- Sunday 18th through to Saturday 24th December
- Elf School – step into the Kent Life classroom and learn how to be a real-life elf! All family members are invited to find out their elf name, learn tips and tricks on how to become Father Christmas’s favourite, and to hear magical tales of life in the North Pole.
- NEW Build your own Teddy Bear** – guests will be able to get creative building their very own fluffy friend to take home and snuggle.
- Join Mrs Christmas in the Kitchen – children can decorate gingerbread with delicious toppings and adults can collect their complimentary drink and a tasty mince pie!
- Candy Cane Cottage Sweet Shop** – housed in the Second World War cottages from nearby Lenham, guests can step inside the sweet shop and fill up on a selection of delicious, sweet treats.
- Festive Films – once the festive fun becomes exhausting, visitors can snuggle up and watch a Christmas movie.
- The Jingle Express – Hop on The Jingle Express and let it take you on a jolly ride around the farm.
Guests can also pay a visit to Kent Life’s resident farmyard friends; they love to see guests throughout December. For when you’re getting peckish, there’s plenty of yummy festive food and drink on offer at The Snow Inn too, so don’t forget to pop in!
Kent Life is also offering special experience times for those with additional needs on the morning of Saturday 26th November. This gives families an opportunity to meet Father Christmas in a calmer environment, with quieter music, lower lighting, and smaller group sizes, and create an experience which is accessible for all.
