From a trip to Santa’s Lodge to the arrival of a spectacular giant snow globe, Ashford Designer Outlet is inviting customers to experience the magic of Christmas this season!
McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford is welcoming guests to the Centre to help them celebrate Christmas with a jam-packed schedule of festive activities. Whether it’s the chance to meet Santa at his Lodge, or stopping by the giant snow globe to take seasonal selfies whilst raising money for charity or walking through the brand new light tunnel; guests are invited to immerse themselves in the Cente’s winter events.
Christmas Lights:
Ashford Designer Outlet welcomes back its festive decorations this year, with some unmissable additions. This year the light display offers a visual extravaganza featuring a walk-through light tunnel on the bridge, a brand-new tree in the food piazza, as well as additional lights sprinkled around creating magical moments and the perfect selfie spots.
Santa’s Lodge:
The Centre will be providing the ultimate Santa experience in the form of Santa’s Lodge, located next to Wagamama’s. Every Saturday and Sunday throughout December 2022, the Lodge will open its doors from 12pm – 6pm. From December 19th, guests can visit the Lodge every day including Christmas Eve – to make sure each child’s Christmas lists makes their way to the North Pole in time for Christmas morning!
Children will have the chance to read Christmas stories and sing songs with Santa’s helpers, before meeting Santa Claus himself and receiving a personalised letter. The Centre is also offering separate SEND sessions designed for children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, ensuring the Lodge is a quieter and calmer environment. These sessions will be available every Sunday throughout December, and on Tuesday 20th December.

Giant Snow Globe Selfie Point:
This Christmas, Ashford Designer Outlet is also introducing interactive moments for its guests in the shape of an immersive giant snow globe that will encourage ultimate sparkling selfies to be taken as a momentum of customers’ visits. In the theme of Christmas, the Centre is encouraging guests to give the gift of giving by donating £1 to their charity partner of the year, The Aspinall Foundation, for every selfie snapped. The unit housing this merry treat will be open every day to the public, until Christmas Eve.
Find the Perfect Present:
In addition to the Centre providing plenty of delightful festive activities, guests have the chance to shop over 100 brands every day. Everything from homeware to fashion is available at the Centre and you will be able to find the perfect present for every taste and every budget. Guests can shop for leggings from Sweaty Betty for your sporty friend, games for your children at Ravensburger, stocking fillers from Molton Brown or a cosy winter coat from Joules, keeping you toasty warm this festive season – among many other gifts!
