Get ready to unleash your creativity with the ultimate historic brick-building adventure at Canterbury Cathedral!

This October half term, join the renowned Bricks McGee for a series of family-friendly, hands-on model building workshops with LEGO® bricks. Dive into history as you recreate parts of the Bayeux Tapestry, construct a catapult, build majestic local landmarks, or bring to life scenes of Tudor England.

Each workshop consists of three themed activities to complete, and at the end, each participant will be awarded a personalised certificate, celebrating their unique creations and accomplishments!

 

Booking essential.

Children must be accompanied at all times by a paying adult, and both adult and child will need their own tickets for the model building workshops with LEGO® bricks.

Pricing Information

Essential info

  • Tickets: £10 per person* (does not include visitor entry to the Cathedral)
  • Duration: 1 hour per workshop
  • Location: Canterbury Cathedral Community Studio
  • Suitable for ages 5 and over: Due to the presence of small components, this event is for those aged 5 and over only. To maintain a safe environment for all, no child below this age will be permitted entry to the Studio.
  • Ensuring an inclusive experience: We want to provide an enjoyable experience for all. Our Community Studio has step-free access, and our Event Hosts will be ready to assist you. If you need additional arrangements in order to take part in this event, please email visitsenquiries@canterbury-cathedral.org and we will do all we can to accommodate you.
  • Dogs are not permitted in the Community Studio, with the exception of service dogs with valid accreditation.
  • *Children must be accompanied at all times by a paying adult, and both adult and child will need their own tickets for the model building workshops with LEGO® bricks. The workshops encourage participation from both children and their parents/guardians, fostering a shared experience, and this is reflected in the ticket pricing.
  • The workshops are ‘build and leave’ events. Participants will not be able to take their LEGO® builds home with them.
