Wartime Christmas at the Royal Engineers Museum

Join us on 8 and 9 December to discover how Christmas was celebrated during the Second World War. Special displays and living history demonstrations will capture the ambience of 1940’s Christmas festivities including

• Cooking Christmas Dinner on rations!
• Sapper’s Santa’s Grotto
• Lindy Hop dancing
• 1940s Hairdressing

There are also costumed re-enactors, family activities, a vintage market, historical talks and entertainment from the Brompton Military Wives’ Choir (Sunday only)
