Biddenden Ice Cider – World’s Best Speciality Cider

Earlier this year we launched the 2024 Vintage of our Ice Cider, we are thrilled to announce that it has been crowned World’s Best Speciality Cider at The World Cider Awards!

2021’s Vintage received a silver so we are really pleased our continued innovation is being recognised with this award.

The World Cider Awards celebrate the best ciders from around the world, with an expert panel of judges determining who is worthy of the title of World’s Best and we are delighted to have won.

Biddenden Ice Cider is made from only the best locally grown apples which are hand-picked and then pressed on site at Biddenden. The high natural sugar content, concentrated aromas, and enhancement of acidity and tannins is achieved through freezing the pressed apple juice and following a process known as cryoconcentration. The liquor is then fermented like a sweet wine for four months before developing further in the bottle resulting in clean, fresh and fruity flavours.
