Samphire Hoe

Stroll below the famous white cliffs at Samphire Hoe.

England’s newest piece of land, made from chalk marl, excavated from the Channel Tunnel. It has quickly become one of the world’s rarest habitats – chalk grassland and a haven for wildlife.

Look up and you may see kestrels hawking above. Look down and scarce beautiful wild flowers can be seen along our paths.  Look out across the sea to distant views of France from the tranquility of this unique country park setting.

See the impressive new education shelter with wood burning stoves. Refreshments are available. Signposted from the A20 west of Dover.
