Folkestone Harbour Arm has been named Food Destination of the Year at the Kent & Medway Food & Drink Awards 2026, but we’re more than just that.  We’ve been reinventing the English Seaside Experience with free live music, family films and entertainment, as well as award-winning food offerings to suit everyone.

The Arm is open for promenading every day from dawn until dusk, weather permitting.  We’re a dog-friendly site,  and you’ll be our friends too if you tidy up after your four-legged friends. Check our website for opening times of individual food venues, but all will be open 7 days a week from 20th June to 13th September and there are events happening throughout the summer.  Don’t miss Dubs on the Arm on June 20^th when a wonderful collection of VW Campervans and Beetles will be parked up for all to see.  On July 26^th we welcome ‘Kates’ for our Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever spectacle.  If you want to wear a red dress and dance to the iconic tune with your friends, then come along early as this is one of our most popular events.

Folkestone Harbour Station has been sympathetically renovated to reflect how the railway impacted on the town and helped it flourish into a visitor destination over 150 years ago.  It also holds an important historical significance for all the service men and women who left from Folkestone to go to war in 1914-1918, some never to return.  The native wildflowers blossom during the spring and summer, with poppies to remember those who have fought for our freedom.

Throughout the school summer holidays there will be workshops and events happening for everyone to join in with.  You can finish off (or start your day) with an ice cream and play at our adventure playground (for ages 0 to 10, children must be accompanied by a responsible adult).  There’s adventure golf for you and five friends, electronic darts and shuffleboard for you and up to seven friends, and sport showing on the Big Screen during the day.
